Faith Formation

The next session will be on Saturday February 5th, 2022. 

Please keep the email that was sent with the link as it can be used to log in for each session.

The room will open at 10:20am, so that we can begin on time.

The Advent Project was due on January 9, 2022. Please place it in a plastic bag with your child’s name on it and put it through the mail slot of the rectory door (Beige door). The project was included with the November mailing. A reminder that along with attendance the projects are used to give your child credit for the year.

A mailing was sent out this week with the Pflaum Weeklies until March 6th and the Lenten Project. Please make sure your child gets the packet to be prepared for class and has enough time to complete the project.

Mass Attendance for Faith Formation Students:

We understand your health concerns during this difficult time, Mass attendance is a very important part of the Faith Formation program especially for those in the Sacramental programs. Please make every effort to join us during our celebrations.

Tax Statements:

If you would like a record of your GREEN Weekly Envelope  Contributions for 2021 to the church.

Second Collections

There will be a second collection today Sunday, January 23, 2022 for the Churches In Need

Food Pantry

The pantry is in need of volunteers to help with deliveries 1-2 Tuesday mornings a month. Anyone who would like to help with deliveries can call (718) 322-3077 and leave a message. They should be able to lift 25-30 lbs.

Pilgrimage Donations

We will be leaving for our Pilgrimage on Saturday February 12, 2022. We ask that you keep us in prayers as we travel to the Holy Land. There is an orphanage in Bethlehem called Hogar Ninos Dios, the orphanage takes care of children that have special needs. We like to bring supplies with us when we go.

As you can imagine, due to the pandemic supplies are limited.

Any donations will be greatly appreciate.

You may bring any donations you have to the rectory office during business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-3pm) by Monday,

February 7, 2022. 

Below is a list of items the orphanage has requested

Thick It ( Powder for liquids)              Single blankets

Bibs (large sizes)                                  Towels (All sizes)

Vitamins for Children and Adults

Winter Pajamas for male or female (ages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 15).

Perfume for children, young adult women and teen age boys.
