Operation Rice Bowl
Lent started on Ash Wednesday, as we have done in the past, we will again be giving out Rice Bowls. Remember to put any loose change in the box as you clean out your pockets during the next few weeks. Rice Bowls will be collected on Holy Thursday April 14, 2022 during Mass.
Faith Formation
The next session will be on Saturday, March 12, 2022
Please keep the email that was sent with the link as it can be used to log in for each session.
The room will open at 10:20am, so that we can begin on time.
A mailing was sent with the Pflaum Weeklies until March 6th and the Lenten Project. Please make sure your child gets the packet to be prepared for class and has enough time to complete the project.
The Lenten project is due on April 24, 2022.
Please make sure it is turned in for your child to get proper credit for the Faith Formation year.

Stations of the Cross
Will be held Fridays at 9am and 7:00pm during Lent in the church.

The Word Among Us
There are limited copies of The Word Among Us on the back table to use during the Lenten Season
Congratulations !
While on Pilgrimage Deacon Nathaniel and Mrs. Ronda Smith renewed their wedding vows at the site of the Jesus’ first miracle the wedding feast at Cana.
We also want to congratulate Deacon Nat on climbing to the top of Mt. Sinai !!
Food Pantry
In January the pantry served 107 families which include 155 children, 267 adults and 81 seniors.
The pantry is in need of volunteers to help with deliveries 1-2 Tuesday mornings a month. Anyone who would like to help with deliveries can call (718) 322-3077 and leave a message. They should be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
The Annual Catholic Appeal 2022
We would like to thank all of those who made pledges to the Annual Catholic Appeal for 2021. We made our goal !!!!
The appeal for 2022 has begun. Our parish goal again is 18,879.00. Please make your pledges. Let us do our best to reach our goal. Remember, any amount received over our goal comes back to the parish.
Lenten Workshop
As Lent is drawing near, we will hold our Faith Sharing sessions on Wednesday morning starting March 9th-
April 6, 2022 at 10am on Zoom. The book that we will be reading is:
The Diary of Jesus by William Cain, SJ.
The book can be purchased on Amazon.
