On Sunday, October 23, 2022 we will have fellowship
in the Parish Hall immediately after the 9:30am Mass.
At that time the Parish will formally welcome our new
Pastor and Parochial Vicar.
Classes have begun, if you have not done so, please register your child as soon as possible.
They are begin held in person in the Evangelization Center
All children, grades K through 8 both new and
returning must register.
This year will be a hybrid year. The sessions will be:
in-person (Sundays-10:30am-12:00pm) with some
virtual sessions (Saturdays 10:30am-12:00pm)
For the Sunday, October 23, 2022 session we will be meeting in the Parish Hall.

Director of Faith Formation
Mass Attendance for Faith Formation Students:
We understand your health concerns during this difficult time, Mass attendance is a very important part of the Faith Formation program especially for those in the Sacramental programs.
Please make every effort to join us during our celebrations.
The pantry is in need of volunteers to help with
deliveries 1-2 Tuesday mornings a month. Anyone who would like to help with deliveries can call (718) 322-3077 and leave a
message. They should be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
The Annual Catholic Appeal 2022
The appeal for 2022 is ongoing. Our parish goal is 18,879.00.
As of October 17, we have pledges totaling $22,620.00 of that amount $20,345.00 has been collected. We thank everyone who have made pledges. Remember, any amount received over our goal comes back to the parish.
Paris, Lourdes and Fatima Pilgrimage-April 10-21,2023
Join us as we visit some of the Marian Apparition sites.
We will visit Lourdes, where our Lady appeared to
Bernadette, and visit the Grotto with the healing waters.
Fatima where she appeared to Lucia, Francisco and
Jacinta and She performed the Miracle of the Sun.
Along the way we will also visit Paris, Avila and Lisbon.

Dear Parishioners, SDV 50/50 Raffle
The Society of the Divine Vocations is appealing to you to help us to help the young men knocking on the door for vocation.
You don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to win some great cash prizes ! All proceeds will go to support seminarians during
their formation program. Every little bit helps. So please consider
buying a ticket or two before you leave Mass, and you can help us to reach out to other people you know. Tickets are $5.00 each. They are available for purchase in the back of the church and from the Parish Office or Fr. Chris or Fr. Eric directly. We also, are in need of volunteers to help.

Track Team News
On Saturday 10/15, the track team was able to host their 1 mile Longstride for the first time in 4 years. The race was won by
John Doyle of Kew Gardens, narrowly beating current
Longstriders Benjamin Urbano and Daevon Branton.
Tory La Force won the women’s race. Coming in second was
St. Clement school Alumni Michelle Nero. Father Jeff Dillon
also took home a second place age group award.
The Advent morning reflection group started on Wednesday
October 19, 2022 and will run until November 16, 2022 from
10:00 am –11:30am on Zoom . We will be finishing the book

There will be a three-day revival prayer for the whole church
starting on Friday, October 28, 2022 – Sunday, October 30, 2022. These prayers will be preceded with fasting as one’s
capability allows. The revival will be used to mark the end of
Friday, October 28, 2022 prayers will be from 6pm-7pm
Saturday, October 29, 2022 prayers will be from 6:15pm-7:15pm
Sunday, October 30, 2022
prayers will be concluded immediately after the 12:30pm Mass.
