Giving Tree

HOUR CHILDREN. Hour Children is a non-profit organization who gives gifts to babies, young children, and teenagers whose mothers are incarcerated at Taconic Correctional, Bedford Hills Correctional, or Rikers Island.
Kindly donate unwrapped gifts to Our Giving Tree such as toys, clothes, pajamas, gloves, hats or scarves. We will be collecting donations on Sunday, December 4, 11 and 18th, 2022
Food Pantry
In November the pantry served 145 families which included
178 children, 345 adults and 79 seniors. The pantry would like to thank the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Peter Claver for
their generous donation of can vegetables and Ms. Nancy Cox, through her the pantry received a donation of frozen meals from Joanna Cronin from the Jenny Craig in Valley Stream, NY.
The pantry appreciates all donations.
The pantry is in need of volunteers to help with deliveries 1-2 Tuesday mornings a month. Anyone who would like to help with deliveries can call (718) 322-3077 and leave a message. They should be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
