Faith Formation
The in-person session schedule for January 15, 2023
has been cancelled.
The session on January 21, 2023 will be Virtual, the link
will be sent by email
The session on January 22, 2023 will be in-person.
As mandated by the Diocese it will be a presentation of
Child Lures:
“The Think First & Stay Safe Program”.
As parents and adults, it is our primary responsibility to keep
our children safe, the reality is that we cannot always be with
them, but we can provide them with a foundation of knowledge and skills to help them recognize inappropriate and unsafe
behavior.
Please report to the Parish Hall at 10:30am or immediately after Mass

Mass Attendance for Faith Formation Students:
We understand your health concerns during this difficult time, Mass attendance is a very important part of the Faith Formation program especially for those in the Sacramental programs.
Please make every effort to join us during our celebrations.
Paris, Lourdes and Fatima Pilgrimage-April 10-21,2023
There is still time to join us as we visit some of the Marian Apparition sites. We will visit Lourdes, where our Lady
appeared to Bernadette, and visit the Grotto with the
healing waters. Fatima where she appeared to Lucia,
Francisco and Jacinta and She performed the Miracle of
the Sun. Along the way we will also visit Paris, Avila and Lisbon.

Second Collections
There will be a second collection on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023
for the Churches In Need
Food Pantry
The pantry served 116 families in December which included 252 adults, 123 children and 60 seniors.
The pantry is in need of volunteers to help with deliveries 1-2 Tuesday mornings a month. Anyone who would like to help with deliveries can call (718) 322-3077 and leave a message. They should be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
The Annual Catholic Appeal 2022
The appeal for 2022 is complete. Our parish goal was 18,879.00.
As of January 9, we had pledges totaling 23,705.00, all money pledged has been received . We thank everyone who made
pledges. The amount of $4826.00 will to the parish.
Diocesan Prayer Service Commemorating the Birthday of
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Diocese of Brooklyn Vicariate for Black Catholic Concerns
invite all to the Annual Prayer Service commemorating the
birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr on Monday, January 16, 2023 at St. Kevin’s Parish in Flushing beginning at 10am.
The day will begin with a small breakfast followed by a panel
discussion on the issue of racism and keeping the spirit of
Dr. King alive in our community and in our Church. Following
the panel discussion we will gather for a prayer service led by
Bishop Brennan The guest homilist will be Father Ajani Gibson, from the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
